A co-worker had an extra ticket & gave it to me. Although I’d been a PF fan for years, I had no idea who any of the members of the group were. In those days, I bought albums on cassette. The liner notes were to small to read…….so even though I’d had every album since DSOTM….I had NO clue who David Gilmour was. It wasn’t until he started playing PF stuff that I “got it”. The name has slipped my mind, but the original sax player from “Money” …….I think he sort of emerged from the audience….climbing over the seats as he played. We were pretty WASTED……..But I love that About Face album.
